CLEARFIELD, IOWA JUNE 22, 1967SCOUT NEWSSCOUTS AND EXPLORER GROUPS VISIT OFFUTT A.F. B. OPEN HOUSE. ..On Sunday, June 18th, . . Scouts and Explorers attended Open House at Of-i'utt Air Force Base in Om aha, Nebraska.The displays, large plane maneuvers, sky divers and demonstrations -were excellent and performed for a capacity crowd.After leaving Offutt A.F. B. , the boys and their families went to Peony... Park and enjoyed a picnic supper and the rides there.Scouts making the trip were Freddie Deardorff, Terry Griggs, Ricky Huffman, Chas. Kilgore, Gary Kleckner, Bill Larsen, Larry and Lyle Leonard, Rodney Straight and Marvin Votava.Explorers attending were Neil Bowman, Jim Ca -vner, Carl Keller, Greg- -and Lewis Larson, Jim.. Mason and Gary Pirtle.Families accompanying the group were Mr. and --Mrs. Virgil Deardorff, Jr. Randy and Virgie; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Larson and Janice; Mr. and Mrs. Olin Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Donovan Leonard, Ronnie and Ricky, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Keller, Mr. and Mrs. Erwood Huffman and Vicki; George and Kevin Kilgore; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Griggs, Tom and Dan.Chester and Danny Moore and Roberta and Leona Keller joined the group for supper at Peony Park.
