People From Anaconda Have Narrow Escape From Falling Trees. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. McNall of West Fourth and A. M. Day, who motored over Philipsburg high line Friday, experienced a remarkably close call to serious danger on the road, on top of the divide, just the other side of the lake before the road dips down into the Flint Creek ‘Valley, a terrific windstorm came up. Five large trees were blown down, some of them lying across the roadway .The auto party missed being struck by a falling tree by a very narrow margin. It required much work, and the trees lying across the road had to be saved in order that traffic may be resumed. “It was the most terrific windstorm that any of the auto party had ever witnessed.
