LEIGHTY STANDARDAllen J. Leighty of Adair and Miss Ellen Standard of Eldorado township were united in marriage at Lewistown on Wednesday, June 14, 1916.They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Brice Currans of Adair.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Standard of Eldorado township. She is a graduate of the Industry township high school, well respected and loved by all her schoolmates and friends.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Leighty of Adair. An industrious young man, Mr. Leighty is a graduate of the high school at St. Paul, Minn., and later holding the position of editor of The Adair Beacon. He is a young man in all respects worthy of the young lady lie has won. After a short visit with the bride’s parents the happy couple leave immediately for Siota, where Mr. Leighty has been appointed a rural mail carrier.Congratulations and a long happy married life to Allen and his young -bride.---Contriubted.
