MRS. S. MERCHANT DIES IN NEBRASKADr. Frank Merchant! received a. telegram last night from Mrs. L. 0. Robinson of Lincoln* Ner.r stating that lior sister, Mrs. Stoddard Merchant, died at 5:30 p. m. yesterday at tli© home of Mrs. Robinson, where she had been visiting for a fewweeks. Burial will be made tcmor-♦vow at Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Merchant was formerly Mias Ella 'Robinson of this city, daughter ot the late Dr. Robinson and married Stoddard Merchant of Cedar Rapids, a brother of Dr.: Frank Merchant of the college faculty* He died several years ago and in recent years Mrs.* Merchant had resided in New York’ City. She i was a beautiful woman in Teature | and in character and greatly beloved [ here where she frequently made extended visits at the home-of her plater. She was only sick a few' weeks, but no particulars of he rill ness have been learned*
