DRUG STORE CLOSED.— -Napier’s Drug Store Has Not Been Open Today.From Thursday's Daily.Capt. E. E. Napier’s drugstoreclosed its doors last night about 8 o’clock and has not been opened to-day. Capt. Napier went to Chicago last night and nothing can be learned to-day as to the reason for its being closed. All that could be learned by inquiry of his clerks was that he went to Chicago and that he wanted to give his help a day off and that ihe store will be opened again to morrow morning as usual.It is known that one of his bondsmen Amos Pratt has made application to blt;^ released from the bond and this may have something to do with the store bf ing closed. Mr. 'Pratt appeared before the council and notified them that he had disposed of some of his property and that he was unable toschedule for the amount of the bond and asked to be* released. The county crt asurer was notified and it is not known what action he has taken. *There are many stories in circulation to-day as to the reason for his closing.
