James McCain, a middle-aged man, was killed at the old Hoosier quarry last Thursday afternoon. He was engaged in unloading some cars containing coal, when a carload of stone got loose further up the track, and running down bumped violently against the coal cars, and put them in motion. McCain was thrown on to the track by the shock, the cars passing over him.
