Smith Family PIc-Nic.The annual pic-nic and reunion of the Smith family came off on Wednesday of last week at Taughannock Falls. The day was fine and everything favorable for people to enjoy themselves, which all seemed to do in good old pic-nic fashion. Although there was a good company, still there were not as many as on former occasions, but those that were there appeared to have the better time.Rev. A. N. Damon, of theM E. church, was present and made some interesting and appropriate remarks which were well received.After some consultation and discussion it was decided to hold the pic-nic next year on the American side, for a change, and it was also decided to hold it the second Saturday in June.The following are the officers for the coming year: William Smith, President;Smith Travis, Vice President, N J. Terry, Secretary; C. C. Smith, Treasurer» Jared H. Smith, Ruben Alien, James H. Arnold, John S. Smith, N. J. Terry, Executive Committee; M. Truman Smith, Ruth Burr, Mrs. Covert A. Smith, Music Committee.
