Cedar Lake, Ind.For information of those who have never visited this chancing resort, will state that it Is located on the line of the Monon Koute, L. N. A. lt;fc C. R’y, 38 miles sonth of Chicago, and Is a beautiful sheet of water—fed by springs and surrounded by a magnificent grove of oak and maple trees, alive with game fish, such at bass and pickerel.The hotel and grounds at Cedar Lake having changed hands, new and valuable improvements have been made, and a pleasant time is assured to all who may visit it.There are plenty of row-boats and several small steamers on the lake, and the ddncing platforms, swings, etc., are in first-class condition.To those who visited Cedar Lake last season, it is not necessary to say that they appreciated Its comforts and enjoyments.For the benefit of tourists, the Company have placed round-trip tickets on sale at very low rates. Indianapolis to Cedar Lake and return at $4.35, tickets good for seven days; at $5.80, ticket* good until October 31,1885.These ticket* can be had at UnionDepot, Massachusetts ave., and city ticket office, No. 26 South Illinois street, Indianapolis.
