I also noticed the wheel wasn’t perfectly weighted arid it always came up on 10 and 11.”Although each had different ideas what they would do if the play money was real, they agreed they should have kept a lid on their secret strategy. When Brian went off to take pictures, that’s when I recruited someone else to bring into the family, said Todd. But I created a monster. He went on to make an obscene amount of money. .Todd explained that it was like a chain reaction. Once one person outside the circle knew the secret, everyone started to earn over a million dollars. It became ugly, he said laughing. They finally put a restriction on the betting amouht.Brian spent his play money on a stuffed dog, framed poster and Walkman. He explained that he kept $100,000 as seed money in case he wanted to try his luck again and gave $300,000 to his girlfriend to buy prizes.Todd spent a majority of his money on gift certificates, a camera and a cassette tape.. We shbuld have kept it between us because no one would've caught on, Brian said. The iriistake I made was bringing another person into the money riiaking fiesta, Todd said.*One-by-one the anxious post-graduates stood in line to get tattoos.Lindsey Morgan wanted a sunshine. Erica Holmes wanted a skull.Michelle Wessman was undecided. The girls chatted in line as they waited for their turn, pointing at their other friends who had put the tattoos on their arms, stomachs and backs.“I'll give you $50,000 for your place,” said Sam Kweskin to Lindsey, offering one of his winning chips as a bribe. But Lindsey refused. She told him she would not be bought and that he couldn’t schmooze his way to the front. Besides, she wanted her sunshine and was afraid it would not be available if she let him take cuts.Needless to say Sam was not pleased. He would now have to go to the back of the line.“I'm getting ousted by all of these women,” he said as he meandered away.r‘Tm going to go gamble. I’ll be at the crap table losing all of my money.”Finally it was Lindsey’s turn. But the booth was out of sunshines.“I want something original for the people I am hanging out with,” said Lindsey, who made a quick decision to get a tree instead.“I'd rather get this one on my tummy,” she said, explaining that it would look strange to have tree branches on her back.Meanwhile the Grad Nite volunteer was using a hot compress to put the decal on her stomach.“I want to get a real one,” said Lindsey smiling. “My mom would hate it, but oh well I’ll be leaving.”ki
