McDonald Reunion heldNinety-one decendants of John Frank and Mattie Belle McDonald gathered for a Reunion o n Sunday, June 11, 1989. The noon potluck meal was held at Kendall Young Park at Webster City, Iowa.Agnes Strain of Webster City was the oldest member of the family present. She celebrated her 90th birthday in May. Her brother, Jim McDonald, 79 years old, of LeRoy, Minnesota, was also present. Agnes and Jim are the children of John and Mattie McDonald.Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wherta of Downey, California, and Alice Cress Siopora of Mesa, Arizona, traveled the farthest distance to attend.On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hefty of Webster City, hosted a Cousins Party. The cousins sang Irish songs, danced and visited.were; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy D.
