Flagons, goblets and cups fashioned of 18-karat gold will be on exhibit Saturday at the Inn of Six Flags during the annual meeting of the Texas Jewelers Association and the Texas Watchmakers Associ ation. The gold artistry collection of 29 items was hand fashion ed by Bart Mann over a peri od of 15 years — a hobby he says began as an escape from the tensions and pres sures of the business world. “It's my hope that the dis play will inspire others to create gold objects for their aesthetic value and durabil ity rather than for their mon etary value,’ Mann said.
