OES Chapter No.Incoming Members Receive DegreesAt the final meeting before thesummer recess, held at the Manatee Masonic Temple, the following became members of the Order of the Eastern Star, ChapterNo. 14, when Mrs. Vernon H Lamp. Worthy Matron and Charles Wigner, Worthy Patron of Manatee Chapter conferred theMrs. Fred Hope. Mrs Myra E Kamerer, Doris E. Norwood. Arthur C. Johnson. Henry Grimm.and George M. Fehr. Other of-tfcers assisting ยป the initiatory work were Mrs Thomas Willis, Dr Harold Pierce, Mrs AuRoo Judkins, Mrs. Chauncey Lucke, Mrs. Harry Campbell, Mrs. Patricia Ann Stahl, Mrs. Alfred Lombardi, Mrs. Merton EarleJdnkins, Mrs. Henry Grimm, Mrs Dan Chumney, Mrs. Ruth Smith, Mr. Logan Floyd. Mrs W, W. Cronk was protem musician and other pro-tem officers were Mrs, Olney Grow, Mrs. John MdMill-en and Mrs. Emil Schultz All are past matronsJohn Bader. Past Grand Patron of Michigan was escorted to the East and welcomed by Mrs. Lamp and Mr Wigner. Also recognized were Mr. Elmer Roh-loff, Worthy patron of Bradenton, Chapter No. 87 Mr. and Mrs Bruce Rigby, Worthy matron and worthy patron from Venice Mr.and Mrs. Richard Grogg, Asso-Tempir Mrs. Frank George re-ported another 800 cancer band, ages had bean turned into Me. mortal Hospital making the total to date 1,025 Mrs. Grace McIntyre, related that meeting* would be hekf weekly to hold study sions for the proficiency teste to be gtven later in the Fall. These meetings will be held m conjunction with the cancer bandage mming bees.
