TARRANT-CRAIL Miss Laura Carol Tarrant, daugh ter of Mrs. Freda Tarrant of Kans as City, formerly of Atchison, be came the bride of Mr. Dale Eugene Crail, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Crail, Kansas City, yesterday after noon at 4:30 o'clock at the Central Presbyterians church in Kansas City. Dr. Layton Mauze performed the single ring ceremony before the improvised altar banked with white gladioli, Queen Anne's face, baby's wreath and woodwardia fern and lighted with tapers held in branch candelabra. The organist, Mrs. J. R. Elliot, played the tradi tional Lohengrin processional and Mendelssohn recessional and ac companied the soloist, Mr. Richard Oberlin. St. Joseph, who sang “I Love You Truly” and “Because,” Mr. Thomas O. Tarrant, St. Louis, gave his cousin in marriage. She wore an heirloom gown of ivory brocade satin fashioned on Victor ian lines. The elongated fitted bodice featured a low square neck line with regal collar and three quarter length sleeves. The full skirt, which was accented with pan niers at the hipline, extended into a long train. A small lace cap with seed pearl trim held the finger tip length veil of illusion and she carried an arm bouquet of calla lilies. Miss Sara Ann Tarrant, St. Louis, was her cousin's maid of honor. Her gown of yellow mar quisette was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice, short puff sleeves and full skirt. The gown was accented with a wide yellow taffeta sash that formed a large bow and extended in streamers to the floor. She wore baby’s breath in her hair and car ried a bouquet of lavender asters. The bridesmaids were Miss Rose Mary Tarrant, sister of the bride and Miss Betty Delaney, Kansas City. Miss Tarrant’s gown was of turquoise marquisette and Miss De laney's gown of lavender mar quisette and both were fashioned similar to the maid of honors. They wore baby’s breath in their hair and carried arm bouquets of pink asters. Mr. Jack Crail, Kansas City, was his brothers best man. Ushers were Mr Fred Shane and Mr. William McGranahan of Kans as City. The bride’s mother was crowned in ecru lace and linen with which she wore green accessories and a gardenia corsage. Mrs. Crail, the groom's mother, wore a grey crepe afternoon dress, navy acces sories and a gardenia corsage. A reception was held in the church nariors immediately after the cere mony. The lace covered serving table was decorated with pink roses, baby's breath and fern and tapers held in candelabra. The white wedding cake was topped with a fruit cake, to be cut on the couple's first wedding ann versary. Assisting in serving were Miss Barbar Karges, Wichita, Miss Nancy German, Kansasily, ang ers Conrad Voelker, Jr. Kansas City. The bride and groom fest for a honeymoon in Wisconsin and upon their return will be at home Chicago at 540 Serf. street. For traveling the bride wore a cham pagne color suit, panama hat, and brown and white accessories. Mrs Crail attended Mount St. Scholas tica academy, Atchison, Loretta academy, Kansas City, and the Uni versity of Kansas at Lawrence the groom is a graduate of West minster college at Filton, Mo. and at the present time it associates with the Frank Paxton Lamber Co. in Chivago, MRS. DALE EUGENE CRAIL is the former Laura Carol Tarrant of Atchison and Kansas City. Her marriage occurred yes terday afternoon at the Central Presbyterian church in Kansas City. She is the daughter of Mrs. Freda Tarrant of Kansas City, formerly of Atchison.Mr. Crail is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Crail of Kansas City.
