Cnrr-Boyd PM. at the Kurri Kurrl Poller Court on Wednesday.Roy Hargrave. 28. pleaded guilty to having been found in the yard of the Kurrl Kurrl Hotel on June 8 for the '*urp«*e of betting and win fined 1*0. in default 40 days Constable J Walker, of Newcastle, said that defendant's betting records showed 193 beta rnnglng from sixpence to 30 Ernest Arthur Pringle. 29. pleaded RUll’y to a similar charge at the Chelmsford Hotel Kurri Kurrl. and I James Frederick McEnenrney. 33, also pleach'd guilty to a s mllnr charge .1 the Station Hotel. Kurrl Kurrl. and were each fined £30, in default 80 dxivs. Rath were second offences.Constable Walker said that Pringle's belting records showed 731 bets • of sixpence to £ 1. which covered two days' races, while McEneamey had taken 279 bets from sixpence to £1.
