Application has been made at To ronto for probate of the will of the late Hugh Richardson, formerly of the department of Indian affairs, Winnipeg, who died recently in Eng land. The estate is valued at $40,463, including $18,460 in western real es tate. To his housekeeper, Florence Besley, who lives in Winnipeg, Mr. Richardson left Battleford real es tate valued at $12,200, and to his sister, Marcella Percy Richardson, he left his share in the estate of their father, Hon. Hugh Richardson, and St. Boniface property valued at $6, 000. The executors are instructed to make provision for the testator’s widow out of the residue of the es tate, if they wish to do so, and the remainder of the residue, if any, goes to Florence Besley.
