All mem bers present. “Bids on file for cement bridge at Oelwein were opened by the Board: Ross and Dodge %5,950.00 and old bridge, N. M. Stark Co, $4,900, NK, M. Stark Co's bid being the lowest je hereby accepted, Ordered that the tax assessed against Amanda B. Smith in West Union be exempted for year 1911, Soldier's widow, Ordered that the tax senator against John Walters in Wadena for year 1911, be exempted. Recommend ed by City Connell, . Ordered that the Road Poll an as sessed against’ Earl Brause in Pleas ant Valley for year 1910, be, abated. Error in returning. Auditor's report of Pocket Gopher, Ground Hog and Rattlesnake appro priations examined and report ap proved. Ordered that the property assessed for year 1911 against the follow ing named parties in Oelwein be ex empted, some being reccmmended by the City Council: Mary Hunter, Catherine Burke, Marie KE. Bressie, Eisiah Meskel, Jas Payne Est., C. P. Jones Est., Ludwig Schneider, A. But ler Est. and Kate Klotzbach. Ordered that the tax assessed against Kate Klotzbach in Oelwein for 1910 be abated, some recommended by City Council. Tuesday, Ane Std. Board proceeded to equalize the real and personal property as assess ed for the year 1911 and as returned by the assessors of the different as sessment districts, and changes were ordered made as follows: Add to’ lands in Banks township 10 per cent, add to horses three years old in Cler mont township, 20 per cent, deduct from lands in Center township 5 per cent.
