About 90 percent of the small grain has been harvested in this area, according to most sources. If the weather stays dry and hot, this week will see the completion of the harvest. J. C. Jarrell, Winters agent for Abilene Southern Railroad, said Thursday morning that 174 cars of grain have been shipped from Winters since the beginning of the harvest season.
