Prominent Ladies Will See to Fur nishing the New Building. The work on the new colored orphan asylum is being pushed very rapidly, and Mr. Emery hopes to have it ready by August 1. He has sent notice to the Trus tees to look after the furniture for the new house. The Board met last evening and instructed the committee—Dr. A. J. De ‘Hart and George W. Hays—to purchase sixty iron bedsteads and mattresses and all other necessaries to complete the fur nishing, according to the suggestions from Mr. Emery. Through the efforts of Mrs. Sarah Fas sett, the following ladies have consented to look after and superintend the furnishs of the entire building: Mrs. Juan Mrs. L. N. Anderson, Mrs. Cathe man, Mrs. N. G. Nettleton and Mrs. Sag Emery. The Board has sent a letter of thanks to these ladies and authorized them to take charge of the furnish of the Seats S butans.
