The iury brought In a verdict of min der In the second degree.At the conclusion of this case the trial of James Pippin charged with the same murder was taken up. The jury bad just been cmpanuellod when the Journal'H account closes.The murder was a shocking one and was perpetrated tor the purpose of robbing the deceased. Money tliat had been in the possession of the deceased was clearly traced to the possession of McGinnis who was arrested in Sussex county of this Shite, where ho was passing under the name ol James Hardestry.The murder was committed on Saturday night, December 8th, 18CG, and the wounded man died the next day.
