MISS HALE ALSO received commendation for her award-winning entry in the Lmcoln-Way area VFW essay contest to describe Americanism She placed second in that competition Also presented at the commencement ceremonies was the junior high school's sportsmanship award, which this year went to Tom Tarulis In addition to citizenship and sportsmanship awards, special recognition awards went to 10 Summit Hill students who were named to the high honor roll at the end of all four grading periods during the school year They were Diane Wenk, Naomi Stipan, John Tadla, Sue Giroux, Sandy Shuman, Mary Hejmonowski.
