Miss Patricia Marie Masse, daughter of Mrs. Julia Masse of 230 North Mead street and Frank Masse of Los Angeles, became the bride of Edwin Eugene Sawyers at 11:30 o'clock this morning. Rev. J. M. Reilly, O. P., read the double ring service in 3th Thomas rectory, Mr. Sawyers is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert, Sawyers of Armco drive. For her wedding the bride wore a white slipper satin gown fashe ioned with a fitted bodice and a lathered palatline and full skirt’ which ended in am cathedral train. ‘The dress had a sweetheart neck line and long sleeves, terminating in points over the wrists. Her fingertip length veil fell from a Dutche effect. Yarra of seed pearls. She carried two large gardenias on a white prayer book with dainty stephanoils tied with white satin ribbons cascading at intervals. The prayer book which the bride carried belongs to an aunt, Mrs. John McCabe who carried it at her wedding. The bride's only jew elry was a single strand of pearls, a part of the bridegroom. She also carried a white linen hand kerchief embroidered in blue be longing to her mother, Miss Mary Lou Weldig of Lick sing View served as maid of honor. She was dressed in a pale green ‘dotted Swiss gown fashioned with in low neckline, short puff sleeves, and a full skirt with ruffles around the waist which formed a hustle-effect in the back. Jerry Bellner of Toledo was post man. A reception for 150 gueats was held in the club room of the YWCA from 2 until 4 o'clock this afternoon. Aides were Miss Mary Louise Masse and Mrs. Joseph Powell, siders of the bride, Miss Mary Lou Pfeifer and Mrs. Rich ard Dickinson. For going away the bride will wear a lime green two-piece linen dress with cinnamon shoes and purse and a white hat, and the gardenia from her bridal bour quet. Following a short wedding tuip through the east the couple will be at Frome in a newly dec orated house at 228 North Mead, street. The bride is a graduate of St. Thomas high school and a mem ber of St. Thomas Catholic church. Sue is a member of Nu Phi Mu sorority and Daughters of Isa bella and is employed by the Ohio Bell Telephone company. Mr. Sawyers, who attended Lash high school, My employed by the Commercial Motor Freight, Inc. He is a veteran of World War II.
