Blackfoot Company Makes Bhd, Which May Be Amended. ‘The Blackfoot Coal Company's bid to supply the city with coal for the Next year was opened at the meeting of the City Council last night and found to be $4.85 a ton, force hed run-of-the-mine coal. The matter was’ referred to the water and light com mittee, since the bid was not drawn according to the specifications adver tised by the council. The committee will allow the coal company to amend its bid, and will give its decision Pri day night at an adjourned meeting of the council. S. F. Conley and Henry Kirklin ap peared before the council and asked that a water main be put in between Schtaler and Pendleton Streeta. The water and tigeht committee was given power to act upon the suggestion. James R. Lipscomb was declared elected city treasurer as the result of the special election of last Friday. Appropriations made were ss fol lows: From the general revenue fund, $203; water and light fund, $3,241.03; and security fund, $167.35.
