A Curious Case, Mr. Hanlon, who has been working at the tailoring business with Kujawa for some time, had a curious experience Fri day. Some nine years ago Mr. Hanlon ran a needle in his knee and was unable to get it out, and ever since that time this needle has been prowling about somewhere in his frame. On Friday last he noticed a pricking sensation in the biceps muscle of his right arm, and as it bothered him considerably, he called on Dr. Bailey, on Market street, and was surprised beyond measure to find that the Dr. had discovered and extracted the aforesaid needle from his arm. It appears that the Bumble Bees tried it first and met with bad luck, and then sent after his neighbor, Wessley, who claims to be able to ride the wildest of steeds; but, low the luck was against him that day. The horse stood all right until after mounting, and there is where the fancy rider found himself fooled for once. He did not kick, but just ran as fast as he could and all at once stopped, but the rider did not until he found himself on the ground amid dust and stones with is knees and various other places well skinned, and pantaloons torn in several places. His idea of the affair is that the umble Bee is to blame for sending for him. Friends venture advice and con solation to the rider to be careful of Cat awissa horses on wheels. From Puck. The members ope Reformed Church will hold a festival in the basement of their church and on the church lawn Friday and Saturday evenings of this week. Ice cream, strawberries, straw berry short cake, candies, peanuts, cake, sandwiches, coffee and tropical fruits will be for sale. The patronage of the public is solicited.
