A man presumed to be the murderer Watujder has been traced to a patch of timber on the Marias dea Cygne river and has been surrounded. Owing to the fact that the river foma the only point of escape the men are confident that the supposed murderer will be captured, but from the fact of his being armed with a rifle the members of the posse do not appear to evince any remarkable degree of alacrity to enter the brush, and hence the demand for bloodhounds.
