Mr. W. P. Kenney was granted a theater lcense on Monday night at the meeting of council, and will re open the Columbia theater on Mon day night. This cozy play house has been entirely remodeled and renovated and refurnished, and will be more attractive to its patrons this season than ever before. The experience of Mr. Kenney in the past is sufficient guarantee that the bills this summer will be even more pleasing than they have been In the past, which is saying that he will give the best vaudeville enter tainments of any house of a sim ilar kind in the State. Quite a number of attractions have ben already billed, others are being ne gotiated for, and the best on the Fond will be called upon to enter tain the audience at this house. There will be an entire change of bill each week, and the summer season promises to be one of the best and most successful in the en tire history of this theater.
