Webster, Esq., will be pleased to learn that the bill allowing him $20,« 100 damages for taking his property at Neah Bay (ostensibly for the benefit of the Makah tribe of Indians, but really to make room for a rival trader who was the favorice of the late Agent),has passed buth Houses of Congress, and ere this has doubtless been signed by President Grant.
