Sr. Lortftf Juno 15.—The Annual Tobacco Fair took place to-day at the warehouse of Christian Peper. One hundred and sixty hogshead* were in competition. Fully 500 persons were in attendance from Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Tennesseeand Indiana. The aggregate premiums amounted to $1,550 in gold. A bounte otiH collation was spread and everything passed off in fine stylo. The following awards were made: Besthogshead manufacturing leaf, to Silas Darce, Franklin county, Mo., $200; second best, to J. H. Bishop, Ballard] county, Ky., $100; third and tour Lb heat, to B. M. Davis, Osage county, Mo., $50 and $25; best hogshead ship ping leaf, L. E. Chat tel, Callaway county, Mo., $100; second best do,, C. W. Carter, Franklin county, Mo., $50; third beet do., Fd. Poindexter, Callaway county, Mo., $25; best hogshead | culling leaf, E. II. Thomas, Covington, K\, $100 ; second best do,, Worthing ton k Powell, Cincinnati, $50 ; third best hogshead catting leaf offered by one party, F. R. Thomas, Covington, Ky., $75; beat priced boghead leaf, Boone k Bro., Clarksville,Mo., $50; second best do., same party, $25.
