The Class of 1951, Huron High School, held its 30-year reunion June 13 at Huron Country Club with ap proximately 85 attending. AND MRS. Ivan Gross, Carpenter, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori, to Rick Hovde, wowef Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Hovde, Willow Lake. Miss Gross is a 1981 graduate of Willow Le High School. Her fiance is a 1980 graduate of Willow Lake High School He also attended Lake Area Vocational Technical Institute, Water town. A July 10 wedding is planned at Grace Lutheran Church, Willow Lake. A dance, open to the public, will be held that evening in Willow Lake School gymnasium MR. AND MRS. Orville Johnson, Highmore, announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda, to Jack Krog, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Krog, Highmore. Miss Johnson is a graduate of Highmore High School Her fiance is also a graduate of Highmore High School and Wyoming Technical Institute of Laramie, Wyo., for diesel mechanics. A Sept. 19 wedding is planned. The activities included swimming, golf, tennis and an evening smorgasbord dinner followed by dancing, Bill Markey was emcee and each member of the class was asked to give a resume of the past 30 years. Prizes were given in several categories such as changed most, changed least, most children, most grandchildren, lost most weight for reunion, traveled farthest, officially retired, etc. A pork barbecue was held June 12 at the Donald Olson farm with Huron classmates as hosts.
