and five other men made a trip in a 42 foot sailboat from Galveston to Biloxi, Mississippi. Mrs. Olsen and the others of the family went to Biloxi to return them to their home in Houston.Mrs. Lorena Scott and daughter, Mrs. Johnny Groves and two children, brought Mrs. Malich home after she had spent a while in Houston.Mrs. Margaret Lovell has returned home from St. Jude Hospital. She is staying at the Clyde Welchs for a while con-garet Wofford from Santa Cruse, California were visiting in Somerville this past week. They are former residents of Somerville and just wanted to visit their home town. They report their father, Charles Poteet, age 90, is living in Dallas and still going strong.Claude Schluens, son of retired engineer John L. Schluens, was appointed as relief car Foreman by the Santa Fe Railroad at Bellville Yards, where he is employed.Janice KruegerStudent BodyOfficers ChosenFloydie WoodforkJanice Krueger, 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon A. Krueger of Somerville has recently been elected as President of the Somerville High School Student Body for the coming school year.Janice is an honor student and is very active in school activities. She is a class officer, participates on both volleyball and softball teams,is an officer in FHA and will serve as Editor of the annual during her senior year.Floydie Woodfork, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Woodfork will serve as vice-president. She is also an honor student and very active in school, taking part in all sports, is an officer of FHA and is a member of the annual staff.
