Big-time wrestling will make its debut in Centralia next Thursday with three bouts scheduled to be held at Fans Field. The main event will match Fred Blassie of St. Louis, weighing 232 pounds, against Irish Jack Conley of Boston, Mass., at 23 ° pounds. Both the main eventers are for mer boxers and both have for sev eral seasons been at the top of the grappling profession, fighting often in St. Louis. The semi-final match will pit, Tommy Felis of East St. Loui 190 lbs., against Johnny Randa of St. Louis, also weighing 190 lbs. Randa was a former Ozark A. A. U. middleweight champ for seven years. The opening bout will matc. Charley Palen of Alton, 195, against Benny Steele of East St. Louis, 188. Palen is a former Illinois light-heavy champion who has been wrestling professionally for nine years. Steele was a former Illinois middleweight champ before climbing into the light-heavy weight division. Following the three regular bouts, a “tag team’’ battle will be held between four of the six fighters on the card. The promoter of the show is Sam Muchnick, leading westling promoter in St. Louis since the recent retirement of Tom Packs.
