Mayor Calls Mass Meeting of Citizens in City Hall Tonight» *(Following meeting of the com* mon council last night Mayor Frank V. Guthrie issued a proclamation to the citizens of Logaus-port announcing that this evening, In the city building, the citizens are invited to meet in mass mctet-ing and hear the report made tothe mayor by the committee of citizens who went to Philadelphia last week in the interests of Lo-gansport with reference to the employment program to be inaugurated by the Pennsylvania railroad company at shops here July 1. This commit\?e consisting of John F. Brookmeyer, R. C. Hillis, James I. Barnes, W. H. Porter and M. L. Fansler, refrained from issuing any preliminary statements and have prepared a report in writing to the mayor. This report, prepared by John F. Brookmeyer is the report that will be receivedTo the Citizens of Logansport:The committee of men who went to Philadelphia last week for the purpose of interviewing the officials of the Pennsylvania Railroad company regarding the situation here as a result of the recent order relative to the back Shops, will make a report tonight at 8 o’clock at a meeting in the city building. An invitation is issued to all citizens of the city to be present and hear this report and make any suggestions which they may deem expedient. I feel that this is a situation regarding which the entire city ! is interested, and believe everyone will wish to hear this report.FRANK V.
