The house in which Mrs. Nora Hall has had her popular dining parlors on the south side of Mesquite street for the past six months has been moved to the rear of the lot by Hamersley and Vandergriff, who have the contract to put up toy Mrs. Hall on the same site, a handsome and substantial two-story brick building, which shoud prove to be the most attractive apartment and eating house in the city and of a kind much needed with Globe's rapid growth. Already, the excavations for the foundation are being made, and in six ty days at the most, the first story will be thumbed, and at that time, Mrs. Hall will open a new dining room large enough to accommodate all her many patrons and so constructed that it will be extremely light and cool. In the meantime, Mrs. Hall is occupying a house two doors below her former resi dence and on the same side of the street. Although she has but recently moved in, the temporary quarters have b een made very attractive and the many boarders are suffering no incon venience from the change. The new apartment house will be a very handsome structure, and a de scription can but partially do it jus tce. Briefly though, the building will be 37 feet wide by 65 feet long and will be provided op both stories to the front and rear with verandas eight feet deep and running the whole width of the building. The windows at the front will be of the large French style so arranged that they can be swung open on hinges. The interior of the house will be sub divided on the ground floor into seven large rooms, not including the pantries and baths. The dining room will be 14 feet wide by 26 feet long and will be thoroughly and handsomely equipped with all the requisites of a first class eating hall. Besides ths room, there will be on the ground floor three bed rooms, a parlor, kitchen and store room. Upstairs, there will be eight large bedrooms and a bath. The interior of the apartment house will be handsomely finished in colors that harmonize, the keynote of the whole decorative scheme being the at tainment of effects in good taste. The building will be pushed to completion as rapidly as possible, and when done, will be one more added to the growing list of Globe's permanent and substan tial buildings. Needless to say, the many patrons of Mrs. Hall's dining room are awaiting with eager anticipation the opening of the new charters.
