The time table covers both freight and passenger service. Passenger trains will be run daily except Sundays, a daylight schedule being I maintained. This service will continue until about January 1, 1910, the time announced for the inau-gu ration of the Milwaukee’s j through transcontinental passenger service.A train will leave Tacoma for Malden daily at 6:30 a. m.. starting from the Tacoma Kastern depot, stopping at the station of North Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Hlack River, the train reaches Seattle at 8:15 a. m. The 313-mile run will terminate at Malden, the division point, at 11 p. in. the same day.Hollowing are the stations at which stops will be made by the Milwaukee local passenger train between Tacoma and Malden: Tacoma, North Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent, Black River, Seattle, Stacy, street, Argo, Van As-selt, Renton, Elliott, Maple Valley, Cedar Mountain, Dryden, Trude, Idolanthe, Moncton, Ranger, Garcia, Banders, Lockdale, Laconia, Keechelus, Whittier, Easton, Lavendar, CleElum, Horlick, Thorp, Murdock, Kllensburg, Kittitas, Renslow, Bolyston, Cheviot, Rye, Cohassett, Beverly, Jericho, Smyrna, Coletta, Curfu, Taunton, Anson, Othello, Duval, Warden, Roxbro, Servia, Lind, Vassar, Ralston, Hillcrest, Marrengo, Paxton, Revere, Castletou, La Vista, Palisade, Kenora, and Maiden.Enroute to this city a train will leave Malden daily at 5:30 a. m., stopping at all the foregoing stations and reaching this city at 10:10 p. m.Freight trains will be operated west over the Coast division on Tuesdavs, Thursdays and Saturdays. East bound freight trains will start from the Cost for Malden on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.Special rules for train operation contained in the time table are:“Trains going east will have the absolute right of track over other trains of the same class running in the opposite direction.“Trains will take their dates at starting points.“Trains will not exceed 15 miles per hour through tunnels.“Trains will cross all bridges and approach all bluffs and cuts where slides are possible, under control.“Freight trains will not carry passengers.”P. The east and west-bound passenger trains are known as No. 1 and 2, respectively, while the freight trains west-bound are No. 71 between Malden and Othella and No. 73 between Othella and Cle F'lum and Maple Valley.
