In the Fifty Thousand Dollar Damage Suit. Lafayette Man Sues For Injuries in Big Four Wreck. The $50,000 damage suit brought by Edward Frank against the Big Four road for injuries sustained in the Purdue wreck at Indianap olis was set for Wednesday, but on account of the Downham- Hinkle case it was not called un til late Thursday afternon. Hay wood Burnett, Judge Gould and M. A. Ryan are Frank’s attor neys, while Stuart, Hammond Simms and Judge Pollard are looking after the railroad’s inter ests. The jury is composed of Perry Johnson, Washington. James H. Wright, Washington. John Robbins, Deer Creek. John W. Foster, Tippecanoe. Warren Bowman, Rock Creek. T. C. Bonebrake, Democrat. Peter Baum, Madison. L. D. Chissom, Madison. KB. A. McFarland, Jackson. Charles Sheets, Madison. Fred Landis, Carrollton. Charles Coble, Adams. An unusual course was taken by the railroad company which withdrew its answer to the com plaint, thereby acknowledging the wreck, the injury to plaintiff and, in fact, everything except the amount of damages plaintiff is entitled to. Instead of occu pying two weeks’ time the case will probably be finished in three or four days.
