THE RAKE CONCERT BAND,organized early in Rake’s history, met for a special practice session in 1922 on the silver wedding anniversary of its founder and director, P. J. Christenson, and someone snapped this photograph. Christenson is at left, holding the baton which band members had presented to him. Rake Historical Society members have managed to identify most of the band members, but would like your help in confirming the identifications and identifying a couple of unknowns. If you recognize band members, contact Odin Johnson. So far, band members have been identified as follows (first row from left) Jack Larson, Unidentified, unidentified, Lars Jorgenson, Halvor Jarshaw, unidentified, Elmer Christenson and Cy Espeland. Second row, Thorvald Sandum, unidentified, Celia Espeland, Hazel Smith, Anna Sorenson, Aggie Larson, Selma Jorgenson Erdahl and Clarence Larson. Third row, A. K.
