The vanguard of an expected 15,000 to 20,000 visitors has ar rived at Comanche Crossing at Lake Mexia for the annual Nineteenth of June celebration. Elijah Burks, director of the Mexia district for the Nine teenth of June organization, said that people have already arrived at the huge campsite from all over the state and from several other states. Officially, the celebration i dyesn’t got underway until June 17 and then it is scheduled to run for three days. Unofficially,|! , started Friday night and at big dance was slated Saturday night with music by the Ron Griffin band under the direction of James Price. Burks reported that all con cussions stands are open and “you can buy just about any thing you deste in the way of food.” ‘The celebration, which will last almost a week, will include, boating, contests and other games.
