FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo, Army Pvt. Jack D. Cart wright, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Cartwright, 509 East Avenue G, Robstown, com pleted a water supply course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., May 27. During the eight - week course, Cartwright was train ed in the methods of purifying water and converting sea water to drinking water. He entered the Army in Jan uary, 1966, and completed ba sic training at Fort Polk, La. Cartwright graduated from Luling High School in 1964 and attended Del Mar College, Cor pus Christi. He was a drafts man for Kitchen Designers, Corpus Christi, before enter ing the Army.
