Woman Stabbed 64 Times, Dies in Church CHICAGO, June 15.—UPP—Lie detector tests cleared one sus pect and proved inconclusive in the case of ‘another questioned today in the fatal stabbing of a paiddie aged unmarried woman in a Roman Catholic church. Police said they would con tinue questioning a 19-year-old Negro youth who was seized in a telephone booth near Blessed Sacrament Church, for +1 THEY SAID the youth had cuts and scratches on his arms that might have been inflicted by Gertrude Lewandowski, 40, in a furious battle for life. Miss Lewandowski was stabbed te times late yesterday, appar ently by a sex deviste, and left dead or dying beside a holy water font in a side vestibule of the church. Chief of Detectives.
