Samuel Stansifer, of Near Geneva, Was Surprised By His’ Friends and Relatives. Samuel Stansifer, who today cele brated the seventy-eighth anniversa ry of his birth, was given a pleasant surprise Sunday by a number of his friends and relatives,who gathered: “at his home a half mile south of Gene va. The coming of the friends and relatives was not known to Mr. Stan sifer until they stepped in on him. A fine time was had by everyone during the day. One of the features to be sure was the big midday meal. All of the guests had come with their baskets well filled with the heat of things to eat. The meal that was, pre pared would have made a dyspeptic hungry. Those present were Mr., and Mrs, T. J. Stavaifer of Waldron, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Stansifer and daughter of Geneva, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Stansifer and three children of near the Bay churches, Job Tindall and wife of Ge neva, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. George Stansifer, Mr. and Mrs.Herbert Howard, all of Wal dron, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Brown of Geneva, Mr. and Mrs. George Coers of Waldron, Mr. and Mrs. George Gar rison and three children of this city, Mr. and Mrs. Doc Hatton of Pleasant , Grove and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stan sifer and son.
