FATHER TO MORTGAGE FARMIn Order to Get Marcellus Forbes OatOf County Jail.The father of Marcellus Forbes who is in jail serving a sentence for assaulting Ora Jennings, was in town today arranging for a loan on his farm in order to get his boy out of jail. He tried to get money out of the school fundbut his farm is located in Vigocounty and he will have to apply to the auditor of that county in order to get the loan. He willplaster the homestead with a mortgage.His son was given a jail sentence of 55 days and fined $550and costs amounting altogether to about $592. He has been in jail 81 days and if he were required to lay out the fine would be in jail for almost two years. He is gettiDg quite restless oniccount of his confinement andlis old father is now coming to rescue with the savings ■hich were to stand betweenimself and want in his old agei order to give his reckless sonzris freedom.
