For Program — — .Girl Scouts Gather“The Cream of the Crop said Mrs. Carol Woods of Plano referring to the some 148 Senior Girl Scouts representing the Tejas Council, who are in Dallas fora 15-day, in-depth fashion career program.The young women began arriving in Dallas as early as Thursday morning at 5 a.m. and Mrs. Liz Fisher, one of the sponsors, of 422 Ridgewood in Richardson, made at least three trips to the D-FW airport Thursday as they arrived from as far away as Hawaii. Her daughter, Leslie, a student at Plano High, is one of the select young women.The Scout representatives are selected from among girls in their individual troops by interviews, and in addition to being outstanding Scouts, are good students with high moral characters and those are the traits that make them “the cream of the crop,” Mrs. Woods said The Scouts are spending three days with their sponsors and will tour the Metroplex and visit Six Flags.
