WWIZ has 30 days to leave airWASHINGTON (AP) - Radio station WWIZ, Lorain, must leave the air in 30 days, the Federal Communications said yesterday.WWJZ operated under a temporary authority after the FCC refused to renew its license. The commission charged that its owner had passed control of the station to the Lorain Journal Co. without commission approvalThe commission said also it had returned to the applicants two proposals to operate the station on an interim basis,Lorain Community Broadcasting Co. has been granted a permit to operate a broadcast station on a permanent basis in Lorain on the frequency now occupied by WWIZ.
