The Ladies in Blue and in Gray motored to Cherokee Monday and helped with the work at the State Mental Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Boote and Lila left Monday to locate in Akron in a furnished apartment for 2 months as Ed will assist the Veterinarian at Akron, Mr. Andrew Hibma, Mrs. Andy Scholten of Hull, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Krahn of Warroad, Minn., and Mr. Ted Hibma of Matlock, came home Friday from their trip to Michigan. They had attended the wedding of Andy Hibma of Hull and Lois Wol ters of Grandville, Michigan’ at te Handley Chapel. Rev. ‘John Gutter officiated. They also visited “at “the home of Rev. Ted Hibman in Holland, Michigan. ‘Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Evertse and Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius. Evertse Jr. of Zeeland, the Netherlands are spending three months at the Marius Evertse homeland. will visit at the Nick Slager home as Mrs. Cornelius Evertse Sr. is a sister of Mr. Slager. This is their first trip to America and they had not seen the Marius Evertse’s since they came to Ameri ca ten years ago. The descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Case Nettinga, had a pot luck supper at the local park Mon day evening in honor of Marinus, Katharyn and Susan Nettinga, who had been visiting her and returned to Dallas, Texas this week.
