Thomas Holland Dies at Age 60Thomas B. Holland. lt;50. died this morning :it Ennis Municipal Hospital after an extended illness, !Mr. Holland was horn in Malakoff on December 31. 1809. the son of Thomas and Ella Bland Holland. He came with his parents to Ennis at the age of nine months and lived here until 1939 when lie moved to Houston. He was a cement contractor until several years ago when he was forced to retire on account of ill health. In 1958 he moved back to Ennis where he lived with his mother Mrs. Lon Taylor.702 East Avenue.Surviving are his mother andistep-father. Mr. and Mrs. lain Taylor of Ennis; three sons. Thomas Holland. Jr. Way landHolland and Kenneth Holland all of Ennis; two daughters. Mrs B. O. Calhoun and Mrs. Don Bal-lew. both of Ennis; two sisters.Mrs. J. H. Evans of Dallas and Mrs. (j. R Alexander ol Hous ton; five brothers, Cordon Tay j lor of Houston, Cecil Taylor of Richardson. Lock font Taylor ofWaco, Oscar Taylor of Dallas and Hubert Taylor of Arkansas andsixteen grandchildren.The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Bobby Bryan of Terrell and Rev J. C. Hixon of Ennis officiating Interment will be in MyrtleCemetery.Mr. Holland was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.
