V. r. W. AUXILIARYINSTALL OFFICERSThe V. F. W. Auxiliary met Monday evening, June 6 at a spec-lal meeting for the purpose of installing officers. The meeting was called to order by the president, Dorothy Herron. The installing officer, Mrs. Rudy Johnson, was presented and installed the following officers:Mrs. Gilmore Johnson, president; Mrs. Melvin Smith, Sr. vice-president; Mrs. Joe Copas, Jr. Vice-president; Mrs. Emma Peterson, chaplain; Mrs. Rudy Johnson, treasurer;Mrs. Otto Jacobson, secretary; Mrs. Bill Johnson, conductress; Mrs. Claire Peterson, 'guard; Mrs. Maude McCormick, trustee; Mrs. Frank Francis, patriotic instructor; Mis. Pat lien on,historiu; color bearers* Mesdames Frank Bilbrey, Bob Artes, John Stecnlage and Ray Peterson; flag bearer, Evelyn Peterson; banner bearer, Peggy Stevenson; assistant conductress, Gloria Dudgeon.Corsages were presented to the retiring president, ihe incoming president and the installing officer.A past auxiliary president’s pin was presented to the outgoing pies-ident, Doiothy Ileum., a gift of the Auxiliary.The meeting was closed in the usual form.Ice cream and wafers* were served by a committee.Thi ift is a wondctful m’iIuc— particularly in an ancestor.
