Game time is 8 p.m. The Boomers have scored 73 runs against the opposition's 15 in winning seven straight Oil Belt League games. Burk’s power-packed lineup boasts nine .300-plus hitters. Al Richardson, third baseman pitcher, leads the Boomer sluggers with a .545 average. Two others are over the .400 mark—Right fielder Jerry McClure, .444, and Left fielder Charles Counter, .406.
