BURKBURNETT. June 15—Man ager Country Owen sends his’ Burk burnett Boomers, who have lost only once in a dozen games this season, against an all-star team from Sheppard AFB here Tuesday night. Game time is 8 p.m. The Boomers have scored 73 runs against the opposition's 15 in winning seven straight Oil Belt League games. Burk’s power-packed lineup boasts nine .300-plus hitters. Al Richardson, third baseman pitcher, leads the Boomer sluggers with a .545 average. Two others are over the .400 mark—Right fielder Jerry McClure, .444, and Left fielder Charles Counter, .406. Shortstop Don Weisel is batting .387; Catcher Ken Faulkner, .384: First Baseman Dwight Holcomb, .376; Centerfielder Dan Owen, .370: Pitcher Bill Flanagan, .363, and Second Baseman Bob Kness, .333.
