Ferdinand A. MerCierOf Holden Succumbs0HOLDEN, Monday — Fer-7 dinand A. Mercier, 84, of 103 Bailey road, died iuddenly yesterday at the Summer home of-his daughter, Mrs. Frederick £. Snay, in Dudley. ^Dr. John T. Nasse of South-bridge, associate medical examiner, said death was due to a heart attack.i Mr. Mercier was born fn Canada and was a baker at th*. Carey Doughnut Shop in Wor-_ ceater.He leaves his wife, Mrs. Cora (Germain) Mercier; two ions. Wallace of Holden and Raymond jof Worcester; five daughters;! Gladys, wife of Frederick .E.: I Snay, Eunice, wife of Ernest A. LaFerriere, Mrs. Mildred Turner, all of Holden, Mrs. Ha2el Taylor of Jefferson and Doris, wife of Albert NolUe of Worcester; three brothers, Leo of Granby, Val of Amherst and Joseph Mercier of i.laska; one sister, Mrs. Roland LaBarri of Holyoke, 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.The funeral will be held from the Miles Funeral Home, Jeffcr-1 son, tomorrow at 8.15 a. m. with a solemn high mass at 9 in St. Mary's Church. Jefferson. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.Calling hours nt the funeral home are 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m. today.
