Veteran Banker Will Be Buried In Westlawn Cemetery. The funeral of John Jacob, Sr., founder of the American Fxchange an and the John Jacob Agency died in his home at 116 Cherry av NE, Friday morning from neth ritis, will be conducted in the home of his son, John Jacob, Jr., 1800 lithst NW, Monday afternoon at 2. Rev. R. W. Blemker, pastor of the First Reformed church, will be in charge of the services. Interment will be made in Westlawn ceme tery. Mr. Jacob had been a resident of Canton for 40 years and was well known in banking circles. He con ducted one of the poneer steam ship agencies of the country. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacob, two sons, John Jacob, Jr. and William Jacob, both of Canton, and a daughter, Mrs Carolina Wyman of St. Petersburg, Fla. The pall bearers for the funeral will be, A .R. Turnbull, Emil Arff, Max Birzer, John Almschneider, Henry Klemp and John Hahn.
