INITIATED INTO SOCIETY even members werev initiated into the Rho Sigma Delta society at the Mitchell high school Monday even ing. This is an honorary forensic or ganization whose membership is made up entirely of students who have rep resented the school in contests will other schools in debate or oratory. The members initiated Monday evening were Miss Florence Johnson, Mal colm Ronald, Lawrence Durkee, Charles Scarlett, Lyle Kinport, Hugh Craton and Dwight Coursey. Miss John son, Hugh Craton and Dwight Coursey were to have been initiated last year but were unable to be present, so were taken in at the time of the new members of the present year. Following the initiation, refresh ments were served in the domestic science rooms at the school, and of ficers were elected.Miss Johnson was chosen president and Charles Scarlett was named secretary-treas urer. The old members who attended the meeting Monday evening were Miss Cleota Branch, Miss Ruth Hoffman, Miss Rosestrong, and Oliver Randle man. Professor L. M. Fort and Miss Lulu Good were the faculty members present.
