THE PICNIC. vExcellent Progress Being Madeon PrograArraugements are rapidly nearing completion for our fourth of July celebratiou. The various committees have heen appointed by the Fire Company and they are getting right down to business The Hicks grove, about a mile north of town, has been selected as the place for holding it and the committee believes that no better selection oouM have been made. The Boyal Centre band has been hired for the occasion and there will be all sorts of amusements, such as ball games, races of various kinds, speaking, and refreshment. In the evening fireworks will be held on school grounds in this city. Posters will be issued this week.t1
